Miniature model effect with Photoshop
To create a miniature model effect realistic, you need a photo taken from above at an angle close to 45 degrees.
NB: If you have problems viewing images in this tutorial:
Right click on the white square with a red and click on the "image display".
In the photo below, I voluntarily saturated colors by clicking Image / auto tone + auto contrast + auto color
Click Select / Edit in quick mask mode
Select the gradient tool, choose a gradient from black to white, choose a gradient from center to the top and bottom.
Press the "D" key on your keyboard to force the foreground color to black and background white.
Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard, and with your mouse draw a line from the place you want to keep as the focal point, Drag the line of the gradient tool upwards, then release it towards the top of the frame.
Over the line will be smaller, over the blur will be quick.
The selection mask is applied, the red zone is the area of the focal point.
It must now exit the Edit in quick mask mode (two dotted frames will appear) and click on Filter / Blur / Lens Blur
Apply settings as shown below
Here is the final result.
The effect is very realistic, the depth of field has become very small as for macro photography.
